Thomas Worthington, one of Ohio’s first senators and sixth governor, planted gardens surrounding his Benjamin Henry Latrobe designed mansion with seeds from Thomas Jefferson. The site features renovated terraces of vegetables, perennials, heirloom and kitchen gardens and a visitors’ center.
