Ohio's Statehouse in Columbus is one of the nation's oldest and most well preserved. Ohio's State Flag is the only one in the nation to have a burgee shape.

Ohio's state tree is the Ohio Buckeye. Ohio's state bird is the Cardinal.

Ohio's state wildflower is the Large White Trillium. Ohio boasts 312 miles of Lake Erie coastline, four major islands, and several historic lighthouses.

Cleveland's harbor is home to the world famous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the Great Lakes Science Center and Cleveland Browns Stadium. Located on the Ohio River, Cincinnati has many popular tourist destinations like the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, the Contemporary Arts Center and the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal.

Columbus, Ohio's capital city, is known as the home of The Ohio State University and for its interesting and diverse neighborhoods like the trendy Short North and historic German Village. Serpent Mound is the largest effigy mound in eastern North America. Prehistoric Native American cultures built the mound about 1,000 years ago. It can be found in Adams County.

Ohio is a great place to experience history, as well as view some of the most spectacular fall foliage in the nation. These cabins at Beaver Creek State Park in East Liverpool date to the early 1800s. Agriculture is a major industry in Ohio. Major crops include soybeans, corn, wheat tomatoes and hay.

Southeast Ohio's Hocking Hills are a great place to discover the great outdoors. Sandstone rock formations, waterfalls and dense forests are a few of the beautiful natural wonders of the area. Dayton is at the center of aviation heritage. Visitors can find the Wright Brothers' workshop, the National Museum of the United States Air Force and more in the area.
