By Car
Six major interstate highways provide passage to Ohio: I-70, I-71, I-75, I-77, I-90 and the Ohio Turnpike (I-80), which stretches 241 miles across the northern part of the state.
When traveling, be aware of the strictly enforced speed limits in Ohio. The speed limit for most interstate highways and state freeways is 65 miles per hour, or 55 MPH under certain conditions. By Train
Amtrak provides rail service to a number of cities in Ohio. Akron, Alliance, Bryan, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Elyria, Fostoria, Hamilton, Sandusky, Toledo and Youngstown all have Amtrak stops. Amtrak also runs five long-distance train routes through Ohio. The Capitol Limited (Chicago-Cleveland-Washington, D.C.) runs three times weekly.
